The villa was great nice and comfy once you get inside (it's bali, so expect bugs, but the bathrooms come equipped with a large can of bug spray!) We enjoyed our stay other than the construction noise which we knew about from reading the listing. However, one major issue we had to deal with was the trouble finding the place! We took a grab and unfortunately the address doesn't appear on the app, so we weren't able to get the exact location/route into the villa which is down a small road, another smaller alley and another... We were struggling on the main street with bad reception. And the problem was that the person who messages you on WA (concierge) is not the person waiting to meet you at the villa, so there's lots of faffing around. We were lost for 30 min, luckily our kind driver waited with us! Cleaning staff were nice but entered without us knowing one morning apparently to check on electricity which was unexpected and we would've appreciated a heads up about it.

Beautiful villa outside the hustle & bustle of Canggu. We stayed here with our 2 teenagers and the layout was perfect for our family. Concierge staff were welcoming and very responsive to any issues. The nearby construction, which we knew of beforehand, was not too loud and there was a great little cafe & restaurant within walking distance. We had a great stay- thanks Max!

We hade a nice stay at this villa. The villa is beautiful and the pool are is very nice. There is a big construction right next door and the constructors begin working at 8am. They also play music. It was not too bad, but still, we did not get this information before booking the villa. The kitchen and living room are open-air.

Had a great time at this beautiful villa. The best part about our stay was the concierge team that was very responsive and they arranged everything we needed (motorbike rental, deco & in villa massages etc). Location could be confusing for grab pickups/food delivery- just have to pinpoint our exact location on the maps.

A Perfect Stay with an Amazing Host I recently had a fantastic stay at max's Airbnb. The space was stylish, clean, and equipped with everything I needed. What stood out the most was Max's incredible hospitality. They were there every day to clean the were responsive and even organized the drivers for us. The location was beautiful near a very quit (black sand) beach (waves were to high to swim, but the house has a pool . A couple of small nice restaurants close by, but if you really want to go somewhere you need a scooter or car, because it is a bit remote. I highly recommend this Airbnb to stay for a couple of days, when in bali

Max’s place was tricky to find as the instructions we were given only explained one way to access but the bridge had been washed out and being repaired. We then called the Whats App number to clarify an alternate route and the person we spoke to was not helpful. We managed to speak to some locals and figured it out but was not ideal after a 3am start to our day. Otherwise the villa was stunning, as pictured. Max organised pool fencing to protect the kids and an additional bed for our toddler. The staff we saw on the daily were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Once we found the villa our stay was seamless. The villa is located out of the busyness of Canggu but still had a spa only 1 min walk and a few restaurants. Plenty of options on Gojek and grab if you don’t feel like travelling into the hustle and bustle of Canggu.

Good Place to Stay
The place looks very nice, just same as the photos. The staff is helpful and responsive too. The location is good too, there's lots of restaurants, only 5-10 mins by car. The living area is an outdoor area so there will be a little mosquito problem. And little incident happened during our stay, the house went out of electricity, should be the fuse problem / hair dryer problem. We message the staff and they teach us how to reboot the fuse, very quick response. It's a happy stay and recommended!

Great place! However there were many tiny crabs, spider, millipede and insects crawling on the floor. It’s due to its location and environment however if you’re ok with it then it shouldn’t be a problem. Constructions going on in the area, which start in the morning. Max was a great host very friendly and accommodating! Would recommend if you don’t mind the above

Gorgeous place! Friendly and super helpful staff. Slightly far from Canggu central but if you love scooter rides like we did then it doesn't matter at all! And it was rather peaceful and quiet. Even the construction works didn't bother us (which the host was also honest about it their airbnb page). Also couple of beautiful small restaurants, beach bars just around the corner. And amazing Udara Yoga retreat literally 2min away! We were absolutely loving our time there. Would highly recommend to everyone :)

Beautiful villa, looks even better than photos. We really liked the pool entrance with shallow water, as we were with kids. Also there is tree over the pool - so there is shadow (believe me, it’s very convenient in Bali). Spacious rooms and bathrooms, good air conditioning. Responsive concierge, polite gardener and staff. Everything you need. Thanks, highly recommend.

The villa is stunning, by far the most beautiful we’ve stayed in. Very clean and amazing staff who could not do enough for us. There are lots of bugs and small crabs (!) so don’t stay if you’re scared of critters. However the noise from the building site next door was a huge problem and so we left to stay somewhere else. In maybe a few months when the work is done it’ll be perfect and noise free. If that was the case I would go back in a heartbeat.
