We had such a lovely time at villa mimpi. It was so clean, peaceful and serene. We both loved the location and the quick walk to breakfast, good coffee and great pizza. Loved that it was next to a spa place and we could indulge in their services too. The amenities were excellent and we had no complaints whatsoever. The staff were lovely, helpful and super prompt with replies. They went above and beyond to help us out. Overall we had an amazing experience and would definitely recommend this space to anyone else.

Max's accommodation looked exactly like the pictures and was just beautiful. We were very lucky with the weather and really enjoyed it. Both the concierge service and the check-in and check-out process were flawless. You were greeted with cold towels and a drink in the villa. We recommend everyone to rent scooters. Firstly, they are relatively cheap and secondly, you can get to all the beautiful places. The villa is only a few minutes' walk from a beautiful beach, but is still a bit away from the main action, so you are definitely perfectly equipped with a scooter because everything is within 20-30 minutes' reach. Everything was absolutely superb. We can only recommend it.

Ein toller Aufenthalt! Nur zu empfehlen, tatsächlich besser als auf den Fotos. Sehr sauber, gute Kommunikation, Küche gut ausgestattet, zum einfachen kochen hat nichts gefehlt. Das in den Kommentaren bemängelte, dass das housekeeping so früh kommt kann man besprechen und sagen, wenn man mal seine Ruhe haben möchte. Maximal ein negativer Punkt: die Unterkunft ist sehr gut abgeschlossen und deshalb staut sich die Wärme etwas im Außenbereich, die der Ventilator auch nicht gut bewegen kann. Aber dann hilft ein Sprung in den Pool :)

The Villa is beautiful, better than the pictures and suited me perfectly for my relaxing stay. It is quite far from other neighborhoods and does not have much around but the beach is close for sunset and you can have anything delivered to the villa and there are a few places walking distance for breakfast or dinner. The concierge is very responsive and available 24h/day for anything you may need.

Lovely villa and exactly like the pictures. The area is very quiet with not much to do around there. If you’re looking for pure relaxation this villa is for you but if you want to get out and about then transport would be required. Overall it was a quiet break after spending a few nights in the hustle and bustle of Bali and finished off with a proposal from my (now fiancé!!) perfect place for it. Oh and our floating breakfast was lovely :)

Check in was easy we got there a little early and it was fine. I did have Max on Airbnb, one regional manager, and a manager for the 4 villas. I was mainly in contact with the on site manager for booking things in the villa. The massage was amazing. The mani pedi was average and I don’t think the tools were cleaned. The villa location is private and walking distance to a few small restaurants. You can hear the chickens and roosters from across the street. The shower floor is slanted in a way that the water pools in the bathroom (mentioned to max). Overall our stay was pleasant

We had a pleasant stay at Villa Mimpi, although the location being right on a road was noisy. Mosquitoes were also a problem even though we were assured by the concierge there were none. The villa itself was beautiful, clean and very comfortable.

Absolutely beautiful villa that looks exactly like pictures. The walk to the beach is very convenient and easy. Great spa, yoga and restaurant right down the street. It is on the outskirts of town but still has just about everything you need within walking distance. The villa is right off the road so you will hear traffic (not heavy), chickens from the farm across the street (didn’t bother us) and the neighbors (nothing too loud at all). Our biggest concern were the mosquito in the bathroom. We sprayed the bathroom with the spray provided, however we had to still wear bug spray during our visit and that did the trick. Beautiful space and we would definitely recommend.

Amazing stay at Max’s place! Looks exactly like the pictures, the check in was smooth and very clear. We had cleaning services throughout our stay. Very proactive and the location is just off of Canggu which is perfect for a getaway. Can not recommend this place enough! Thanks a lot

Villa Mimpi is a well decorated, very clean place looked after by very friendly and helpful staff. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is huge with double basins. Both cold and hot drinking water are supplied which is a bonus. There were considerable mosquitos during our stay. The villa is located about 20 minutes by car from the main part of Canguu in Seseh which I would describe as semi rural. It was a long drive from the airport, almost two hours, although this was late afternoon on a Friday. If you are after quiet, this is not the place. The villa is on a road with frequent traffic noise and exhaust fumes. There is a chicken farm across the road with roosters crowing all day long. Of course these are things that the host cannot control. Some options for breakfast and lunch. Turn left out of the villa is Mewali and Clove. To the right a cafe on the corner and further walking will take you to O’Brothers, Seseh pizza and our favourite, Bu Reka. All in all a pleasant stay.

Very enjoyable stay. The villa is nice and location in Seseh is just outside the hustle of Canggu--calm and quiet location with easy access to more central areas as well as very comfortable space. However, a little disappointment due to the space being offered by a property management company rather than an individual. The host referred us to a small network of What's app contacts as soon as we arrived and it was a little inconvenient to have three different contacts during the stay rather than one. Would have been nice to have more personalized responses to the small issues during the stay. Also, the maid, gardener, pool maintenance, and launder were there at 9am in the morning--anyone staying in the future might want to request a later time for this. The space itself is very nice and would recommend. Just minor adjustments to hospitality might make it even better.

The villa is wonderfully located! Incredible yoga, food, and coffee within easy walking. Beach is less than a 5 min walk away as well! Bedroom is lovely, and the plunge pool was great! The only issue we encountered were the large amounts of mosquitos and midges in the bathroom! Bug spray made no difference and I walked out with at least one big bite per bathroom visit. We also had some issues with a nearby villa throwing a party starting from the afternoon and carrying on until early the next morning. Noise continued to be an on and off issue

Absolutely loved our stay here. It was in such a quiet area and just a taxi or gojek ride away from the main parts of Canggu. Didn’t look like there was much around us but after a very short 4 minute walk either side of the villa there was a a couple of breakfast places and coffee shops. My favourite was one called “clove” beautiful coffee!! The concierge were so incredible! They responded to call requests I had and organised drivers and tours etc. and very quick to respond. I would absolutely stay here again. Everything was as expected and concierge made our stay and experience so easy!

Wunderschöne und mit vielen liebevollen Details eingerichtete Villa in etwas ruhigerer Lage, als direkt in Canggu. Mit dem Roller erreicht man die belebte Gegend innerhalb von 15-20 Minuten. Einziges Manko für uns war, dass wir nur wenig Sonne im Liegebereich hatten und die Pflanzen, die sich um den Pool befinden, täglich von uns aus dem Pool gefischt werden mussten. Alles in allem waren wir zufrieden und vergeben daher fast ausschließlich 5 Punkte. :-)

We had our honeymoon here at the villa, it was very peaceful. A little bit out of town but there is a few places nearby which were very nice. I recommend seseh pizza, which is walking distance. We used the grab app to get into town which cost around $5 aud a trip. The villa was as described and great! We had a fantastic time Thank you very much.

We absolutely loved our stay at villa mimpi. Such a beautiful, clean and modern space. The staff and hosts were very attentive. The space is nice and private and away from the hustle and bustle of the busier areas, however with this I would recommend hiring a scooter to get around (the concierge was great in arranging this for us). We also loved that we were able to have food delivered for free from a restaurant around the corner. Definitely would stay here again!

It was great! The house, the pool, the shower were beautiful. In the daytime the pool gets a good amount of sunlight. It is very close to the sea, and walkway is beautiful. There is a statue and a temple very close to the sea. As a side note, you cannot swim in the sea. The house was very close to another temple too, 2 mins walk. You can use grab for transportation, they can easily find you and it is the cheapest way in Bali. Also we ordered some food and alcohol in with gojek app. We had breakfast 1 morning. She came early, so she woke us up, and when we woke up everything was ready. So until we get to the table it became colder. For the check-out, same lady came :D And again she came early, we had to send her back, because our taxi wasn’t there yet. Be careful with the baby crabs in the house, it didn’t bother us. Coffee machine wasn’t cleaned and got mold inside, we wrote them and they immediately changed the machine. Thanks for everything! We enjoyed it so much!

Overall it was a good experience staying in the villa. Walking distance to a private beach and a few low key cafes that you can get a quick bite. It was a smooth check-in, with welcome drinks. The person also guided us thoroughly with the facilities which is very helpful. However we faced a few problems during the stay. The air conditioning became warm during the first night and we informed the management but couldn’t get someone coming in to fix it. We cleaned the air conditioning and didn’t expect the ac to be quite dusty. Luckily it went back to normal near the midnight. Thought it would be normal after yet it happened again the next day. Would be helpful that the management making sure the air conditioning is being serviced regularly. We have a clogged drain when showering and it overflowed to the whole bathroom. We waited an hour for technician to come fix it. Despite all the problems, the management is quite helpful but definitely there’s thing to improve too.

The Villa was very cute and cosy, in perfect condition and very clean. The bedroom and bathroom was spacious and gorgeous. The pool and outdoor shower was nice surrounded by nature. The location however wasn’t ideal as it was noisy during the day due to chickens nearby and the Villa was 25 mins away from the main Canggu area. The Villa also recommended a local restaurant with free delivery for meals but I ended up getting Bali belly from the food so wouldn’t recommend. You also can’t always get food delivered from other restaurants at night due to no drivers available in the area.

Excellent location in the heart of Seseh, a picturesque beach town that's still surrounded by rice paddies but with some great local cafes, restaurants and other places (Udara). It's also not too far from Canggu so other nightlife activities are still accessible.

Villa Mimpi was unbelievable, as soon as we arrived and realised how epic it was we immediately booked another night and we’re so glad we did. There is a team of support on side to help with your every wish - we asked if we could rent scooters and had them within a couple of hours. The garden area is a little slice of paradise. The scooter ride into central CANGGU takes about 15/20mins but we enjoyed having our own beach and more chilled vibes around Seseh with the option to head in if we needed. Amazing place, would highly recommend!

Brilliant villa! Staff are so lovely, housekeeping done daily, fresh fruit that was cut up for us to enjoy. The villa is located out of canggu which has its pros and cons, having to scooter everywhere but also means it's much quieter than in canggu town! Pool was amazing and the bathroom was stunning! Would stay again a million times over. And tip for future guests- the maps app says you can't walk along the beach to get to canggu but you can !!

Perfect stay in the quiet fishing village of Seseh. This was well needed after a few days in busier parts of Bali. I recommend bringing food if you are planning to self cater as there are no stores nearby but there are plenty of restaurants and even an option for a chef to come and cook you dinner in the villa! This place is designed beautifully and the private pool is heaven!

Notre séjour chez Max a été formidable. La maison est magnifique, bien équipée, et très calme. Mention spéciale pour le lit incroyable et la salle de bain la plus spacieuse qu’il soit. ❤️ Le petit déjeuner n’est pas inclus mais ils mettent tout en œuvre pour vous faciliter la commande depuis un petit café tres sympas au coin de la rue. Enfin Max et son équipe sont à l’écoute, formidablement facilitant pour tous les services que vous pourriez demandes (location de scooter, réservation de transports etc). La maison est légèrement excentree du centre de canggu, une 15 de minutes en scooter mais la route est tellement agréable à faire que ce n’est pas vraiment un problème 😉 Le seul bémol de notre séjour a été une inondation dans la chambre parce qu’il a beaucoup plus une nuit, nous vous conseillons donc de faire attention à ce que l’eau ne déborde pas dans la chambre car cela a bien trempe nos valises. Ce qui n’est évidemment pas de la faute des hôtes. Quoi qu’il en soit cette maison est literalement sublime et nous ne pouvons que vous conseiller d’une passe lors de votre séjour à canggu. Die Villa inklusive Service war der Hammer. Kann nichts negatives äußern. Wir waren im September dort und Sonne ist den ganzen Tag auf dem Pool. Ein Geldautomat ist direkt vor der Tür, genauso wie der Strand und Möglichkeit zu tanken. Ich habe es geliebt auf Bali mit dem Scooter zu fahren, daher war es der perfekte Abstand vom Canggu Zentrum, innerhalb von 10 Minuten ist man dort. Vielen dank für alles, Ich würde es jeder Zeit wieder buchen!

Lovely villa on the outskirts of canggu, more quiet. Can take go jek to town or we walked the 2.5km along the beach which was also nice. Cute little cafe and shops down the road. Would come again.

The villa was extremely clean and has everything you need - they even thought about smaller details like a portable speaker. Make sure to catch a sunset at the beach right outside the villa. Thank you & we will be back!

Notre séjour chez Max était exceptionnel. Dany est a notre écoute et nous réserve tout ce que l’on souhaite. Il vous livre un scooter, réserve des masseuses… La villa est magnifique et très propre. Par contre, il faut savoir que vous êtes à 20min de canggu et qu’il n’y a rien autour de villa ce qui peut être embêtant. Mais vous pouvez vous faire livrer à manger. Cette villa est idéal si vous voulez vous reposer.

The villa is really special! Everything was super clean, the staff so helpful and the features/design of the villa were incredible. Lots of lovely places seem to be opening up nearby so the area is very up and coming, and with easy access to Canggu (via motorbike you can rent through the staff) it is an excellent location. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Our stay at Villla Seseh Lodge - Villa Mimpi was great. We can only recommend everyone to stay here. The team was great, a big thank you to Max & all staff (concierge, villa manager and on-site staff were super welcoming, the friendliest and most open people you can meet). We felt perfectly serviced by lovely people at all times. The building quality and everything includes in the villa was of highest standards. The best we have seen on Bali so far. Seseh is a 15-20 min scooter ride away from the heart of Canggu. Perfect for us seeking a more quite and local area. You feel like living in a local only town with further amenities like few restaurants and cafes, which we can highly recommend. We will be back! Thank you!

Loved everything about it!
It’s close to cute restaurants and cafes and the beach and temples and aerial yoga! It’s a little bit of a drive to town but we enjoyed walking to town by walking along the beach.
