Great place to unwind if you’re wanting to relax in peace and quiet. It’s a 10-15min scooter ride away from Changgu which is where some great restaurants and shopping are. The villa kitchen area really needs an aircon and curtains so that it can be cooled down. Was just so hot and uncomfortable in there so we didn’t use that area, we really would have liked to. Staff are really good to deal with.

The property was absolutely amazing in all aspects, from communication prior to arriving to ensure a smooth check in to complete service upon check out. There were no faults at all, it was spacious, luxurious and clean, everything you could ask for. It was also just out of Canguu so away from the hustle and bustle of everything. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay here - the villa is exactly like the photos and everyone from Max to those we spoke to on chat were lovely. The only thing is it way too from the central parts like Seminyak and Kuta. We would spend at least 45 mins in the car every time if theres no traffic. If there is, it's easily 1.5 hours and our last day we spent 3 hours to Uluwatu. If you're okay with the location, this place is definitely great!

Everything was fine, but it was a pity that the cleaning staff did not close the door to the toilet and living room in the end. A lot of bugs entered the room at night and caused trouble. This is the only thing that made me lose one star. Others are very good.

Absolutely magnificent. The place was very spacious and we were amazed by how spotless it was when we first arrived. Every part and corner of the villa was very insta-able, especially the outdoor bathroom. Host was very helpful and responsive. If we have to be critical and think of some downsides, it would be the location and insects. The place pretty secluded meaning there’s barely any shops nearby but then you can enjoy the peace and quietness, and it’s easy to get to the city with taxi. And to make up for it there’s an amazing pizza place, a cafe, and a stunning beach just 3 mins away, so overall we’re still happy with the location. Also since there’s plenty of outdoor areas at the villa so insects like mosquitoes and geckos are almost guaranteed. If you can’t deal with that it’s probably not the right choice for you but otherwise the bedroom was free of insects almost all of the time. Pesticides were provided. You really cannot go wrong with this villa.

Wonderful stay at Max place. We are a very good time. The conciergerie was very helpful and responsive. We had great balinese massage at the villa, good breakfast and dinner. We used the concierge to rent a motorbike, take surf lesson and have a private driver for a day Everything was great. The villa is very peaceful, decorated with lot of taste. The bathroom is so nice. The location is perfect, you can walk to the beach and you are away from the busy streets We strongly recommend the place, you cannot be wrong! Matt and Alice

I will be back! You can order in-room massages and also have meals prepared for you. The staff is so friendly and very responsive.

Loved my stay at Lumahi villas. Gorgeous villa in a peaceful location, beautifully designed and decorated, just like the photos. The pool was just lovely, and Max and team were super responsive and helpful. Super close to the beach, and to Seseh General Store for awesome coffee and meals, and Seseh Pizza for great pizza! Will definitely stay again next time I’m in Bali :)

Leider entsprach die Unterkunft in keiner Weise den Fotos der Villa. Vor Ort angekommen, waren wir sehr enttäuscht, da die Villa schon sehr „used“ und abgewohnt war. Der komplette Außenbereich war für uns nicht nur aufgrund des schlechten Wetters (dafür kann keiner was) nutzbar! Die Auflage der Chaiselongue war völlig speckig und verdreckt. Ebenso der Sitzsack. Auch die Holzterrasse hat seine besten Jahre hinter sich. Der Garten war lieblos angerichtet und wirkte mit dem Ausblick die verspakten Wand gruselig. Die Küche mit Esstisch und Sitzbank war nicht einladend. Auch durch den unangenehmen Geruch im Küchenbereich wurde dieser Teil von uns nicht genutzt. Selbstverständlich haben wir unser Unwohlsein sofort bei Max reklamiert. Seine Aussage: es konnten in letzter Zeit durch die Witterung keine Ausbesserungsarbeiten durchgeführt werden. Max bot uns eine kostenlose Storno an. Dies war für uns leider nicht möglich da sämtliche Unterkünfte ausgebucht waren. Leider eine Enttäuschung.

We absolutely loved the place, we have a 1yo baby, we felt safe and clean for him to crawl around indoor. The Italian restaurant and cafe that were just around the corner were amazing! One issue we had was the water pump, it broke down twice during our stay, it affected the water supply. Other than that, we had a great time there.

A very lovely, secluded place. Really appreciated the fact that the place was ready in time for an early check in and that the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The conceirge, Putu, was easily contactable and responded very quickly and efficiently to our needs... we enjoyed our stay thoroughly, but do note the villa is about a 15-20 min motorbike ride from Canggu. There are some good cafes nearby, but if you'd like to be in a more populous place with some really good eats (like Canggu), you'd need to rent a bike. also do allow for time to get to the airport, it's about a 1.5 hr drive away from it 🙂 overall, loved the villa and happy to return! thanks Max, to you and your team for looking so well after us.

We had a great stay at the villa! We stayed there for a week and enjoyed it very much. The pool in particular is a highlight in the accommodation and the cleanliness was spotless too! Seseh Beach is a small quiet place but there is not much to do. You are very dependent on taxis or renting a scooter by yourself. But there is a great café right on the doorstep and a highly recommended beach bar at the beach!

We stayed at Maxs place for our first stop in Bali. We were a bit late for check in due to traffic and the villa manager never made us feel like we needed to rush and greeted us warmly when we arrived. The villa is a bit out of the way which suited us just fine (Seseh beach area) The area was quiet and felt very safe. A grab car was about 5.50 Can dollars to central caangu and we never had to wait more than 10 mins. Great pizza and coffee shop 2 min away! The villa itself was beautiful and well equipped. The yard and public areas between villa was well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was very nice. The air conditioning kept up with the heat and humidity and the wifi was perfect. There was everything we needed there and the house cleaner was very efficient and kind. The villa manager catered to us and was super helpful, arranging scooters and massages (and even sending gas when we ran out, lol oops) If you are considering a stay here, do not wait! Book it !

This Villa is about a 20 minute scooter to Batu Bolong and around the same, if a little longer by car which we liked as it was out of the hustle of main Canggu. Putu, the Villa manager, was really helpful organising a scooters, a driver (Indra, who was amazing!) and even home visits by a doctor. There was even a great coffee shop a 2 minute walk from the Villa which was great for slow mornings. Bed was also massive and comfy. Overall good Villa.

We stayed in Villa Lumahi 2 for one month. It was beautiful. The place Seseh was very quiet and perfect to relax. The beach (2 minutes away) was very nice. To Canggu it is about 10 minutes by scooter. The staff was super nice and did a great job. The cleaning lady was there almost every day and always kept the whole villa very tidy. We often used the Texting-Service with Putu, which also worked great. All in all, we were mega satisfied and and certainly come again.

This villa is extremely clean and beautiful. Santi, the villa manager, did amazing with ensuring our stay was wonderful. The concierge worked great to schedule our surfing lessons, drivers, massage, and scooter rental. There are a few good spots around the corner from the villa that are great for a quick bite. But a quick car ride over to Canggu is easy to enjoy other restaurants and beaches as well. Would definitely recommend this place!

Him and the team went above and beyond to accomplish all our requests, from scooter rental, to massages or day trip planning. The villa is absolutely stunning and located in a quiet area of Canguu, minutes away from the beach. Thank you, Max, looking forward to staying in one of your villas again!

Wow this place surpassed our expectations. Awesome Villa layout, super clean and amazing waterfall shower. Staff were 10/10 with clear communication via WhatsApp, even helped us arrange a scooter rental which was dropped off on our first morning so we could travel into Canggu (approx 15 mins). Location is tranquil and has an excellent coffee shop 2 mins away and the beach is less than 5 mins away too. Would highly recommend!

Max's villa is amazing! I think one of the most important things to note is how cold the air conditioner is. It only blows for the bedroom so don't expect to be as comfortable in the kitchen/seating area. This area has high ceilings and a decent fan so it isn't unbearable. Secondly the bathroom is very clean, but it exposed to the outdoors (imagine a room with a portion of the roof exposed). Ants and millipedes do make their way in, but there is bug spray provided to keep the little critters away. I had to get adjusted to showering in the "open", but it's just so peaceful and enjoyable with the rainfall shower head and natural plants. As far as location goes, it's definitely not a main area/hotspot for tourists. I was unaware of this when I booked, but to be completely honest, the area offers its own charm. There's a little cafe, a restaurant/bar, and pizza shop around the corner (2-minute walk) with the friendliest staff. A drive to the beachfront restaurants and bars in Canggu are only a few miles away, but with the way roads are set up, it can take up to 30 minutes by car. It's very quiet and peaceful at night which I enjoyed. The villa itself only has two other adjacent units which added to the seclusion. Staff was also great. I thought I'd be staying in a house, but it's actually part of a group of villas that are taken care of by concierge/management. I didn't see a front desk, and there isn't an operator you can call from the villa, but Max and many of the other members of the staff are available through WhatsApp (this is the main means of communication for everyone). Everyone was super helpful and I was able to get a driver for all hours of the day and night. The villa also offers a slew of activities such as in-unit cook, yoga, spa, etc., but I did not partake so I cannot speak on these. The villa features a kitchen, water machine that can pump out boiling water (bring home some cup noodles!), plenty of towels (face, hand, and body, swimming), bug spray, and a safe. There wasn't a TV, but the Wi-Fi is strong for streaming from your personal devices. Overall, I'd recommend Max's property 100 times over! In short: clean unit, well-stocked, helpful staff, and great location (if you're looking for something out of the way).

I loved the relaxing vibe of this villa and neighborhood very much. It’s new and clean, and esthetically felt so right. It’s 20mins bike ride to the main Canggu cafes, but It’s just 2 mins walk to the beach. It’s very quiet & local area, which I liked. But there’s still a lovely cafe on the corner of the street, they serve good coffee and brekky all day. Recommend!

I fell in love with this beautiful and aesthetic villa, especially with a touch of rattan furnitures in this villa. Maxime’s villas @Cemagi Mengwi Bali is real hidden germ. Beach and Paddy’s fields are walking distance. If you are looking place to escape from regular Bali’s crowd this is your place. Love to have cappuccino @SesehGroceryShop and fusion balinese mix french dinner @BuRekaBristro, all are a walking distance from the villas. Definitely will be back soon for next Bali’s trip

We enjoyed so much our stay at maxime place.. For you who’s looking a quite place and still not to far from crowded scene, this place will be perfect.. A brand new location that opened at the beginning of 2022. Fully stocked and clean with good a/c, wifi, Alexa, smart tv, and personal pool + jacuzzi. Great staff and concierge as well. Close to good shops, dining, and coffee. 10/10 would stay here again.

Great Experience at Villa Lumahi Dua
We enjoyed staying in Villa Lumahi Dua . It was an amazing experience to stay here because the room is spacious, clean, has complete amenities. We feel super homey. All the staff as well very nice, friendly and helpful.Location is also a plus as u can easily walk to the beach.We would love to return next time we are in Bali!

this by far the best and cleanest and loveable villa we ever stayed in… very conveniently located near the beach and coffee shop… secluded and quiet area… and the hospitality of the staff is great… when we arrived there, I was still on a vidconcall with Europe and the staff immediately guide me to the villa and gave me the wifi password so I can continue the call… we will return again for longer stays
