Pak Kadek has been extremely helpful with the recommendations and help whenever we need them, he went above and beyond to help us make arrangements and communication with the local vendors. Overall we had an amazing time! Would 100% recommend this place for anyone wishing to stay in Canggu!

Overall a great place and has a private feeling since it’s located in a small alleyway. On the first night however I experienced water disruption, the water pump was faulty and maintenance came over to resolve it but the problem returned. Max’s team was quick to try their best but spare parts were not available late night so it was fixed first thing in the morning. I don’t fault the host because sometimes things do get spoilt and they did their best to fix it within the circumstances. For the inconvenience, host was quick to apologize and provide a small reimbursement for the 1st night. Very thoughtful and respectful to my stay, says a lot of his experience of hosting

Check-in was super easy. The host provided very clear instructions prior to our arrival. The staff also contacted us prior to make confirm the timings with us. Extremely happy with my stay and the service provided. We ordered in 1 dinner, 1 breakfast and in house massage and manicures. Service was awesome and food was delicious! Pool was great for my kids! Place was clean, beds and towels were very clean as well! As great as a 5 star hotel! Only issue we had was insects and animals which made their way into the open toilet on the 1st floor. We didn’t managed to use that toilet during our 5 nights stay as we found geckos and crabs in the toilet on separate occasions. Staff were awesome in helping us remove them back into the wild. This is understandable given the area we stayed in and the season. We had a great stay! Everything from service to pool to meals to rooms were great! Will definitely try out other villas by the same host! We will be back soon!

We were two families sharing Max's house and the four self contained bedrooms worked beautifully. The location suited our holiday arrangements but it can be treacherous walking on footpaths/lanes because of all the construction in the area. Once inside the house it was beautifully quiet and peaceful. Max's staff were great. Always ready to help. Plus they did cook several meals for us. It was a very restful stay and I'd happily recommend to others.

The villa was amazing we really enjoyed our stays, they are currently building footpaths around the area for east access due to walking along roads can be dangerous but using Grab you can get around easy. The cleaners were very nice and did an amazing job keeping in touch and working around us. Would definitely recommend and 100% come back

Lovely Villa out of canngu
Gorgeous villa out of the busyness of Canngu. Loved the huge outdoor bathrooms so much. Perfect for our first stop in a 2 week trip. Staff could not communicate in English very well so we didn’t have a lot of service from them. Close to Finns and lots of restaurant hubs if you get out to explore beyond the close places within a few blocks. Loved how open the lounge / dining was!

Great place to stay, lovely rooms, great kitchen, beautiful pool and surrounds. And the staff were helpful and friendly. Only complaint is really the location meant travelling by taxi or scooter to restaurants, bars, cafes, shops etc anytime you wanted anything which made it feel a little isolated. Otherwise it was great!

Excellent joint. The staff that clean and help are better than a resort, so friendly and nice. The host has list of options to make eating, transport and activities easy to organise and at competitive prices. The apartment was super clean. The host was flexible with letting us in a little earlier than check in time. The pool is great.. wish I didn't have to leave.

Villa Clemence was amazing, we love everything about it, especially the night pool view - simply beautiful and mersmerizing! We spent our nights just soaking ourselves in the pool and having lots of laughs. We were warmly welcomed upon check-in by the staff who were very polite and attentive. They remained easily contactable throughout our stay which was a great help. Communication with Max was easy and swift right from the start. Location was good and we could get around easily by Grab. Through the conicerge, Putu, we ordered breakfast, lunch and spa services on our last day before leaving the villa for the airport in the late afternoon; great way to end our vacation :) Just a couple of issues to point out though : 1) roaches and insects in the bathroom of the last room on the ground floor 2) locks on the glass door and bathroom door of the bedroom on the upper floor cannot be locked It will be great if the team can look into measures/solutions to address those issues.

The photos don’t do Max’s Villa justice! The rooms are perfectly designed with privacy in mind, with a perfect communal area to have meals and lounge by the pool. Everything was immaculately cleaned and maintained, and Ayu cooks the best nasi goreng and western breakfasts! We loved our stay, and would highly recommend to anyway who wants some peace and quiet, but to be only a 2 minute scooter ride to the main drag of Caangu. Thanks Putu, Ayu and Max!

Wow what a fantastic place this villa is. Absolutely stunning from inside & out. Furniture and decor of the place is beautiful. All the facilities are great and is perfectly placed to have the sun in the garden & sun beds all day. The staff were absolutely fantastic also and managed to sort or answer any questions we had. Would 100% stay here again when back in Canggu (hopefully soon!!)

We loved our stay here. The staff were always super responsive and accommodating. The bedrooms were all very comfortable and the showers were good (water took a bit of time to get hot but not too long and once it did was completely fine!). The pool was lovely too, and good sunbathing beds / areas. Would really recommend, very easy to get bikes / cars to and from the villa to where you want to go to as well.

Very well maintained villa, great location, with friendly and attentive host. This is one of the best villas we have ever been. Prim and proper landscaping seamlessly bending with the villa , facilities are really clean and new. Beds and pillows are clean and comfortable. The host, Christian, was really friendly and speaks a good command of English. She’s very attentive and made good recommendations. What’s more, she went out of her way to make sure we had the best murtabak ( indonesian sweet and savoury pancake) in Bali when we asked her for recommendation, which she personally delivered. She gave a 6 star service! Very highly commendable. My only regret was not being able to tip her more as we where out of cash. Location of the villa was great too! Highly rated eateries and the Finn’s beach club is just a 13mins walk away.

The staff were really lovely, easy to communicate with, and the concierge was so helpful with our requests. Through them we were able to organize a nice BBQ at the villa and transportation even we had finished our stay at this villa. The villa itself is stunning! Everyone had a nice room, very clean and spacious. Highly recommend staying here, it was a wonderful stay.

Amazing place to stay in Bali - the attention to detail is top-notch - from the lights to the layout of the house to the furnishings and pool depth, all are very well-thought of. Not to mention the host and the in-house concierge service which was also very helpful in whatever we need. For a group of family with kids, we had a very good time and super comfortable stay!!!

We had a great 4 nights in this villa. Everything about it was as per the listing. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and the main living space absolutely perfect. We loved the pool area which had lots of on sun on it and was warm to swim in. The location was great - an easy walk to the beach or to the shops. Grab taxis were easy to order for going out at night. The villa management were easy to deal with and responsive to any questions. We couldn’t fault the villa at all - we all loved it. Only things to note, which are out of the villas control, were that - - there is construction of other villas going on all round the villa, so some construction noise was heard - you can hear the music from the club on the beach at the villa. In addition the occupants of a nearby villa thought it was acceptable to still be partying at 5am one night….. - we had an issue with mosquitoes in the bedroom with the open bathroom.

We would suggest that perhaps a grocery shopping service wold be good although it's easy enough to find a market. Certainly ticked all the boxes. Transport is cheep & easy to find, just bring cash.

Our stay at Max's was exceptional. The surroundings were very peaceful and relaxed. It was great to go out and enjoy all Bali has to offer and return to the seclusion and serenity of the villa. The pool and gardens a highlight. The kitchen was well equiped for cooking at home. The team running the Villa were responsive, proactive and supportive and were always offering to help over and above. Could not recommend more for family or for many couples as there are very individual private spaces within the complex. Thanks for a great time!

The villa was in great condition when we arrived and we had a great stay! Anywhere you wanted to go is just a GrabCar or Gojek away and it’s pretty easy to get rides. I would recommend this villa for people who would like to explore Canggu and Seminyak!

Villa Clemence is probably the best villa that we have ever stayed at! Max and his entire team were absolutely brilliant. We used Putu to drive us around the sites and he was fantastic. The villa is exactly like the photo’s and is spotlessly clean. We are a family of 5 and there was lots of space. We all loved the pool. I highly recommend this villa.

We were six guests staying at the Villa for five days in July. The communication with max and the other stay both before and during our stay was very good. They were very helpful and positive, and responded very quickly. The villa had a great vibe, with a modern style. A big plus with our own water dispenser and unlimited water. However, some of the sun beds could not be laid down, which made it hard to get a good tan. Also, one of the private bathrooms did not have a wall against the pool, which can be uncomfortable and bugs also get into the bath more easily. Very good pool, but some vegetation that blocked the sun in the late hours. The location was very good, with a 5-10 minute walk to supermarkets and beach. There were two villas next to this one, which could cause some noise if there are neighbors. Hopefully we had very few disturbances. Also, it was possible to set up several activities directly in the villa, such as manicure/pedicure, massasje, home made breakfast etc. We tried some of the options and were quite happy with this. All in all we are very happy with our stay, and can warmly recommend both maxime and the villa.

The villa is so awesome. Bright, full of sunlight and very comfortable. The bathrooms is great, the kitchen has everything I needed. The villa is cleaned every day (except Sunday/ holiday) by very friendly people. I enjoy walking every morning from the villa to the beach, passing rice paddy fields. Restaurants, shops and a mini market - Canggu station (actually bigger than a mini market), is within walking distance. There's a great coffee place, Good Mantra, less than 100 metres away. There was an issue of noise from villa near by under construction, but Maxime and Laurencia got on top of it and make sure we can continue staying at the villa feeling comfortable and taken care of. And by now, the construction should be done anyway and whoever will be staying after me at the villa, will enjoy it even more. This place is highly recommended! Thank you Maxime and thank you Laurencia. I will be back :)

Our host Yunika was amazing very friendly and went over and above and made us feel very welcome and at home. Communication was excellent right from making our enquiry and booking via AirBNB through out our entire stay. The villa Manager Andrew was great and responded quickly to any enquires we had using the wats up app. We would definitely return to Bali and stay at this Villa again.

The villa is in between Seminyak and Canggu, you will need to rent scooters to get around (which the villa staff can arrange for you) or you can get taxis of course. We had Yunika that looked after us and cannot speak highly enough of her! She went above and beyond to help us out :) The villa looks just like the photos, Definitely would recommend !

From dinner reservations or just a quick trip to the market she was always there to help. We would’ve been lost without her. Yunika, our housekeeper was amazing! We rented motorbikes from them and Mona (the manager) even went shopping for us. Mona was such a great addition to our stay. Great and spacious house that was very well kept, clean, stylish, and comfortable. Has everything you need, including a great pool that catches the sun for most of the day, effective AC in the bedrooms, and nice touches like mosquito spray for all guests, a Bluetooth speaker for the living space, and plenty of cold filtered drinking water. Location is on the quieter side, and about 10-15 minute walk to great shops, restaurants, and the beach. Taxis apps were also easy to call to the house with minimal wait time for further journeys. Mona, the house manager, was great to wait for our late evening arrival and communicated promptly with us throughout our stay.

We loved our stay at Maxime’s villa. The space is brand new and beautiful, and the staff were all lovely and really attentive. The manager Mona was always keen to help us with anything we needed. The villa is in a quiet pocket of Berawa and is in very close distance to all the great shops and restaurants in both Canggu and Seminyak. We would definitely come back to stay in the future :)

Dear Maxime, It was a great place. My family really enjoyed our stay very much. The place was very clean and very nice, true to the listing description and photos. The pool was very nice, we really liked the pool. The available JBL bluetooth speaker was a great amenity. The Wifi was working great and fast. AC units worked great, rooms were nice and cool, and able to get cold if we wanted. The two only draw backs on the place were: (1) the drains to the showers were a bit plugged up, and the water was slow to drain and there was a bit of standing water when you took a shower. (2) when you first spend time in the rooms, there is a bit of chemical-like smell to the rooms, we couldn't tell if it was the smell from fresh paint because the building was so new, or maybe the smell of the mosquito treatment? But we got use to it after a day or so, and we forgot it the longer we stayed. But other than those minor issues, the place was awesome. You and Lusi were very responsive, and Mona was supportive and hospitable throughout our stay. Thank you so very much for making our trip to Bali a memorable one. Regards, Minh

Beautiful villa with friendly & attentive staff. Would recommend renting motor bikes or a small car since the entrance is pretty difficult to navigate with a bigger car. We had a few problems with the water dispenser and ac remote which were immediately taken care of by the villa manager. Sadly, the airconditioning was way too hot, especially in the room on the second floor, which really affected our stay.
