Horrible place and staff that will push all the blame to the guests
Booked the place for a 2 night stay. On check-in night, no ready staff and my partner and I had to wait in the dark badly lit place. We were shocked the bed was a nest for insects and a big bug was found attached to the bottom of the pillow with insect eggs left behind on the bed. Even with photo and documentary evidence, instead of acknowledging the issue the staff and owner, downplayed the issue saying it’s common to have insects and they were insect wings instead of eggs. They had the cheekiness to say unit was cleaned properly following a strict cleanliness standard. They made me and my partner wait past 12am before sending a team over to just change the bedsheets, the duvet and the pillow cases. One of the pillows were horrifically stained/soiled dark brown. Even with the pictures, the pillows were not changed. Bath tub which were supposed to be part of the facilities looked like it wasn’t cleaned for 5 years and could not used. The floaty that we rented from them was delivered late and was not setup for us eventhough during communication we confirmed would be. We had to DIY, but when we tried setting it up we discovered a hole. When we told true staff about this, again the blame was shifted to me for not telling them earlier. The whole experience was already too horrific from the start and the last thing we wanted was to have to justify our frustration and make the staff and owner see how unprofessional the whole operation was. I would never book this place or any property from Max again even if I was paid to stay in his property. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment. Consider yourself warned.

Breathtaking Villa
Amazing place with all the comforts of home. Was able to walk to restaurants and the beach within 10 minutes. I stayed in four places while in Bali and this was my favorite.

Perfect
Our stay was incredible. The Villa is one block from my fave beach on the West coast. A walk past our fave cafe in Seseh The General store. The beds are super super comfortable. The bedroom & bathroom are missive The staff are all so gorgeous. What a perfect week. Thanks Max I can see why you are a Super Host.

Great stay!
Had a nice stay in Max’s property! Accommodating staff and easy to communicate to. The villa was exactly how it is in the photos. I would definitely consider staying to this villa again the next time I’ll be in the island!

Not quite I expected
Located ‘near’ Canggu which is away from all the noise. However meaning away from convenience as well. Had to go through two times blackout meaning cut down of electricity and water for several hours for my our two day stays. Staffs were there to communicate. Last day, staff was to come for checkout but didnot show up so I chckd out by myself.

Lumahi one of the best villa in Bali
Everything was superb at Lumahi, beautiful place, clean and neat. Provide best location, its quiet and near the beach just walk for 5 minutes from our front door. The staff very helpfull and responsive to the guest.
