Villa Astaga was outstanding! Have stayed in many Villas in Bali and this is up there with one of the nicest. Location was fantastic, Seminyak was at your door, yet just far enough away from the busy streets. The villa was extremely quiet and there was no noise from anything that surrounded it. Pool area was perfect, just the right size. Lounge and kitchen area was comfortable, with plenty of room. Pool furniture was ideal. Air conditioning worked well. Always felt safe with 24 hour security. We would go back there.

What a lovely villa! Max was a wonderful host, his team were excellent. We felt right at home. It’s a peaceful part of Seminyak but still quite close to everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Would highly recommend. We loved the local cafe “Souma” we had breakfast and coffee there every morning and the staff were so friendly also. Such a pleasant experience all round! Thanks guys!

As a person who lived in Bali for a while and stayed in multiple villas, I can confirm this is a great villa. It is fully equipped and recently renovated. The location is quite, calm and traffic is not busy. There are multiple decent and non-busy restaurants and cafes ~3-5 minutes away by driving a scooter. I was a bit sceptical about the location at first, however it turned out to be really nice. Strongly consider renting a scooter if you go to Bali. The streets around the villa are good for scooter newbies and riding practice.

Agréable maison de vacances. Le personnel est très gentil et la conciergerie réactive. Il faut un peu plus d’une demi heure pour aller à la plage de Ku De Ta à pied. Et un quart d’heure en scooter. De la maison, nous n’entendons pas les bruits de la ville, et ça, c’est parfait !

Villa Astaga was exactly as how it was shown in the pictures! My family and 1 enjoyed our stay very much. The check in staff Putu was very warm and hospitable. Max and Putu were on a message away for enquiries and other services we require. Overall a big thumbs up for the wonderful stay!

Good location and easy to get around. Would stay here again and recommend to anyone in the seminyak area.

It was a really comfortable and relaxing stay at Max’s place. The bed, sofa and beanbags were great for lounging, the pool was of a good size, and the place was very well equipped. They provided hotel level service despite it being an Airbnb - daily cleaning, pool and shower towels, potable water, international adaptors, sunscreen, etc. Check in was also a seamless process, and the pre arranged airport transfer made the entire process incredibly convenient. There are 1-2 eateries near the villa (3-4min wall) which we tried - good coffee/brunch joint and a supper place. The walk out to the main road was a little too far for us so we were better off ordering food in, or grabbing transport out to the main seminyak area (15-20mins which is great considering traffic in Bali). Would definitely recommend for people wanted to explore seminyak area!

Wir haben uns sofort wie Zuhause gefühlt und unsere 4 Wochen dort sehr genossen. Wir (Paar) mit Baby sind zunächst alleine in der Unterkunft gewesen, später kamen die Großeltern dazu. Durch die beiden separaten SZ inkl Bad war das gar kein Problem. Super zu wissen, gerade mit Baby, der Pool liegt perfekt zur Sonne, sodass man immer auch Möglichkeiten im Schatten mit dem Baby findet, und auch der flache Einstieg ist sehr für Kids geeignet. Die Küche war ebenfalls gut in Schuss und eingerichtet. In direkter Nähe befinden sich das Restaurant Kelor und Souma, beide spitze und in 3 Minuten erreichbar. Ins Zentrum von Seminyak sind es 15 min zu Fuß. Also ein für uns perfektes Rundumpaket.

Max’s villa is a lot better than the photos! The pool was very big and perfect temperature. The bathrooms were so clean and very beautiful. The beds were nice and soft, very comfortable after a long day out. The villa is cleaned every day, they make the place smell amazing. We got a ride to and from the airport which was a great addition. The location is great next to a lot of restaurants and stores. They also offer spa services which I loved. I definitely want to come back to this beautiful island and definitely stay at Max’s villa again!

The local food scene: *Secret Supper, hole in the wall eatery was open late and served incredible rice omelettes 👌 *Kelor warung was another excellent local with superb Balinese curry. Definitely consider staying in the future.

Prachtige villa van alle gemakken voorzien, heerlijk le rustige ligging waardoor je niet het idee hebt vlak bij de drukte te zitten. Hele goede communicatie, alles perfect geregeld van transfer tot Tourtjes. De slaapkamers liggen we wat ver weg van elkaar ( de woonkamer zit ertussen) dus met kleine kinderen die dat spannend vinden wellicht niet de beste optie. Met onze kinderen van 10 en 13 was het perfect! Zalig ontbijt keuze uit wat je maar wilt! Top villa!

The services were very helpful, our driver Putu looked after us at all times whenever we needed help. The massage services provided were the best we’ve ever received for only $20AUD! They provide filtered water for free & provide you with many other things that other villas don’t. (Umbrellas, flashlights, bug spray, international plugs) - these things make a big difference in your experiences Will definitely return again, very happy customer 😁😎

The villa was an okay base for our stay in Seminyak, for the price. The host Max and the team for check in and check out (Daisy) were very kind, helpful, and accomodating. Out of all the Bali villas we stayed in though, I think we were just disappointed with this choice and the location. As a group of 3 pretty confident girls, we felt unsafe walking to and from the villa into the busier parts of town, especially in the early or late hours. While there’s a security team out near the front, one of the guards made a very inappropriate bedroom comment to us when we first met the team which made us feel uncomfortable as they were so situated so close by. We do not recommend walking back to the villa at night… it’s a very dark area with creepy laneways… just get a taxi directly to the villa (and directly out when you can). Apart from feeling unsafe, our bathroom toilet area needed a more thorough clean and we found small hairs throughout our bed. Not the best vibe to end our stay.

Amazing! The Villa was absolutely stunning and exactly like the pictures. The staff were the nicest people with such great manners and everyone got back to us so quick when we had a question. I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone. Only downside was the water pressure in the bathroom. It wasn’t strong enough to run the bath so we couldn’t use it. But overall, amazing!

We picked villa Astaga for our honeymoon. Lovely staff, clean, villa was great, pool temperature just perfect. Pretty much all our needs were satisfied, good communication. The only slight concern is the location, villas are quite close together and if you happen to have a noisy neighbour with children, you will be able to hear them. Nothing to do with this villa, it's the area and Maxine tried to help us. But that shouldn't be a put off factor just something to be aware off. We would love to come back one day.

We stayed in this amazing villa for my son’s 16th birthday day. This villa comes with a private pool, spacious lounge & dinning area. It’s was just like everything we saw in the picture. When we arrived they had a car at the airport to greet us with a sign. Once we got to the villa we were greeted by the manger Ms. Disy and four local drinks. The management help me set up a massage and facial at the house for my wife. It was my son’s 16th birthday so the concierge of the villa coordinated a birthday cake and private chef for his special day. They cleaned the villa every day and changed out towels. They had personal cars on stand by all day to take you into town, which wasn’t really far and local shops that were walking distance. I walked there once and it took me about 15mins. We also required a Covid Test to get back to we’re we came from and the villa coordinator coordinated local doctors to come to us to do the Covid test. This place also have 24hr security. I would rate this place and the staff 10 out of 10. I recommend this company to all my friends and family

First of all it was really great! The check in went really smooth. Desy was really communicative and helpful. The villa was really nice, clean and well located. There's parking for car or scooter. We had a really nice stay at Max's place. Definitely will go back ! Thank you Max for your hospitality!!! :)

This villa is absolutely immaculate and is even better than the photos. My partner and I stayed here for twelve days -- great communication from the host Max, as well as the manager of the villa Desy. The villa has two bedrooms, a beautiful pool and an outdoor kitchen/ living room. Everything is provided from a water tank, boiler, sunscreen, mosquito coils etc. You can wake up each morning with a wonderful view of the pool and gardens and then take an early refreshing dip. The area itself is very quiet, and there's security outside -- the housekeeping did an impressive job each day of cleaning and we also booked a very nice honeymoon massage package. It's away from the noise but close enough to lovely cafes and restaurants that you can walk on foot. I would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat.

located in a very prime location. friendly owner, butler, and staff. she reminded us about the check-in and send us the location before we came. perfect size for a group of 4. love how the sun came in every morning. the only thing is that there are insects in the common area; like ants, mosquitos, and lizards. so be prepared for it. overall, i have an amazing stay

Its a verry good location, near to laundry, near to point square, easy acsess to main street, very warm hosoitality by the host and the manager Mba Dessy, very helpful maid for taking care our room and our pantry after cooking, the villa atmosphere is very beautiful alot of trees and plants... Need Improvement on the water, water is lacking of heavy, with a big bath up quite long fo fill it, and security should taking care the guest when they do park their car, at least give the direction not only stay at the guard post... Thank you but over all awesome villa...

The Villa is clean and tidy, but when we stay there's a water prolem at 9.00 PM so we need to wait it get fixed until around 10 PM, ibu Desy is very fast handling the problem. Others than that only the water for shower takes time to get hot for shower. So over all is a good experiance to stay in this villa.

We honestly had the most perfect time in Maximes villa. Everything from the communication to the villa management and housekeeper was above our expectations. The villa was incredible spacious and pool space brilliant. The bed and linen was beautifully comfortable and the way it was maintained was perfect. We loved the little touches that were offered; travel adaptors, hdmi cable, mosquito cream etc; such a thoughtful addition. The welcome was lovely and Desy who managed it was so brilliant. I am very lucky and happy to say we got engaged when out there and my now fiancé organised with Desy a beautiful flower, candlelight, flower bath etc for us and she was genuinely so happy for us which was so lovely. The housekeeper was beautifully kind and lovely as well as exceptionally attentive and makes a great breakfast (extra £ but worth it). The road leading up isn’t bad, so not sure why that’s been mentioned a few times and the area local, able to walk around day and night as well as local food deliveries always find it easy. The sunlight is on the villa all day so you can get a lot of sun throughout. We cannot thank you enough and I am already having a lot of people asking where this villa is located from sharing pictures, I would recommended to everyone who asks as well as looking to rebook in already. Thank you so much all. We are very sad to leave the villa but looking forward to coming back already ☺️☺️

thanks for being a wonderful host! Special shout out to the villa manager/host Desy, whom was perfect! She was prompt in communicating (she reached out to us 1 day before checking in and offered to buy groceries for us to be ready within the villa when we arrive). We had wifi issues temporarily and they sent someone in within 15 mins to fix it. Unfortunately, on the last day me and my partner took ill with food poisoning from dining out and Desy helped tremendously by calling the doctors, cleaners and etc. I would highly recommend this place, as we received the best hospitality and care that one would wish for. Thanks again!!

EXCELLENT! Maxime’s place is really great, me and my friends really love it! Everything is same as in the picture. The villa is really stylish, nice, and clean as well (even I got so many DM on instagram about this villa). The private pool is also excellent, the water is clean. They also provide us a portable Bluetooth speaker with ipad, it was really amazing because actually we forgot to bring one. Their staff is also very nice and kind. If I can go back to Bali again, I will choose Maxime’s place again, because I won’t have to worry about everything. Thanks Maxime!

We loved our stay at Max’s villa and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Seminyak. The villa is clean, big and so worth the price we paid. The pool is gorgeous, and the entire villa is very well equipped. Its about a 10 minute drive from the main streets of seminyak. The area is peaceful and there are many bars and restaurants close by. The cleaner Nyoman was very friendly, and the villa managers Putu and Daisy were very helpful during our check-in. Overall we had a fantastic time!
