We loved staying at Art Gecko Villa. It is in a small street off the main road, but easy to get in and out with taxi or scooter. the area was quiet and peaceful with security at night for added comfort. The garden is lovely and no mozzies in sight. I would highly recommend this place and would love to come back again. Also the staff are lovely and non intrusive which we really appreciated.

Een fijne schone villa die ondanks de vele horeca in de buurt erg rustig oogde. Binnen een aantal minuten ben je in de buurt van restaurantjes en anders een kort ritje met een taxi. De villa is mooi maar sommige dingen zijn aan vervanging toe zoals de schuifdeuren van de slaapkamers. De eerste nacht viel de stroom uit maar dit werd de volgende ochtend na ons appje binnen een half uur gemaakt. Villa heeft allerlei services zoals ontbijt en laundry service halen en brengen. Fijne tijd gehad!

We arrived early in the morning in Bali and needed to check in early. The stuff helped us a lot and they were very friendly. The location is good. It was very easy to find a Grabcar/taxi. By walk you are in 2-3 minutes in the street which is very busy, but you don‘t hear any noise from the villa. It was very quite there. The Villa is like in the Fotos, but needs a bit renovation. It was clean. My son swam every day in the pool an we enjoyed our first days in Bali in this Villa.

Positive: Nothing Negative: Everything, the staff were useless and the villas were flooded every day because the roofs leak, making the tiles slippery, had several falls. Very dangerous. all the doors were broken and wouldn't close. There were too many insects and ants we couldn't use the cooking facilities. They spent a whole day at our villa, bringing 3 different maintenance workers. When we requested cleaning to be after we go out say 11 am for a example they would pick there own time and come hours earlier when we wanted to sleep. .

Positive: The pool area and living room were really nice. The bedroom and kitchen were quite basic and it would have been nice to have had a tv in the bedrooms. Negative: It was further than expected from the main part of seminyak. The kitchen equipment was basic. Would be nice to have tomato ketchup and condiments in the kitchen. Coffee and sugar were never topped up in 6 days. The power blew the first night and it took them a few hours to rectify meaning we then missed going out for dinner that night and so we didn’t eat dinner when we had arrived at 9ish at night and thought we woujd go straight out for dinner. I think we should get a slight refund for the inconvenience of this. I think the Villa was expensive for what it was, having stayed in villas in seminyak previously. I have never complained about a holiday either so this shows you for the price that I was a little disappointed.

Firstly I must stress both the host and Management Company (MC) were great. Very responsive, helpful and professional. The villa needed a good clean and the MC responded to this quickly and got the cleaner to focus and address our concerns. The villa is in need of repair, there is a lot of wear and tear in the main living area, for example, the ensuite bathroom door does not close at all off the kitchen, the decking needs a good clean and seal, the showers need replacing, bathroom floors need re-tiling and so on. I feel we overpaid for the villa given its current condition. I do understand the owner is aware that work needs to be done but whilst it's still in this state I couldn't recommend it. I would however reach out to the MC (Christian) again and stay at their other villas as honestly they were superb!

The place from Lucy was nice; we enjoyed it. The swimming pool was beautiful, though a bit chilly but perfect to cool down. We liked the clean bathrooms and the comfortable beds. Also, the couch is very nice, and the full kitchen supply is included. It was very private, and we'd love to come back.

수영장 좋았습니다. 방도 넓고 좋았습니다. 화장실에 샤워기가 아니라서 조금 불편했고 마루에 에어컨이 없고 트여있어서 조금 더웠습니다. 위치가 되게 깊숙히 있고 그랩잡으면 길안내를 이상하게 해줘서 조금 불편했습니다. 친절하고 좋았는데 타월을 2일에 한번 갈아준다고 합니다 타월이 좀 모자른 것 같습니다. 그리고 청소하러 오시는 분들이 아침잠을 좀 깨웠습니다 일찍 와서. 여러명이 가서 즐겁게 놀기 딱 좋았습니다. 위치가 좀 불편했는데 그것 말고는 크게 불편한 점 없었습니다.

A unique place of tranquility and security
Positive: We simply liked the Villa itself with the open living room facing the garden and pool. 2 additional separate bedrooms with private bathrooms allowed additional privacy. The staff was very helpful and immediately available to help with a short power outage after heavy rains or to help with the provision of fresh coconuts or a small snack. Negative: Heavy rains in recent months have brought a lot of moisture into the building. A bit more maintenance would be beneficial here. It would be a pity for this beautiful place.
