The villa was even better than pictured. It was a perfect space for a group of adults. Each couple had a fantastic spacious room. The common areas including the pool were perfect for group hangs. The service on the property was fantastic. There are plenty of nice cafes, restaurants, and shops at walking distance. We are super happy with our stay and would recommend to another group.

Max was a great host! The staff were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond for us every day. Definitely need a scooter to get around as there arent too many cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Other than that great villa exactly like the photos would recommend 😊

Great great great place. My friends and our families loved it. The place was ideal for us all and we enjoyed the fact the villa was attached to a concierge service who helped us with a chef, cooking, cleaning and also massages at home. It made our stay easy and hassle free. The rooms were great and the open space even though hot and humid due to the climate was fun for the kids and the adults to enjoy our dinners and down time. Highly recommend to all!

We had a problem with the water for one of the days but it was resolved and Max was responsive and helpful throughout the process. Overall our family enjoyed the stay and it was comfortable. Les photos sont en dessous de la réalité !. Très belle maison au fond d'une impasse au calme. La décoration de la maison est très réussie que ce soit pour les chambres, l'espace de vie et la piscine. Les salles de bain sont immenses à l'italienne avec 2 baignoires dans 2 d'entre elles. L'équipe sur place est très pro et très réactive. Très belle adresse dans un Canggu en pleine mutation, il reste quelques rizières autour de la maison. Un regret, ne pas être restés assez longtemps pour en profiter !

Such a fantastic villa. As a family of 10 was really comfortable and spacious the rooms are so big with massive walk behind wardrobes. Beds huge and comfortable. Location superb for beach stays and family fun walking distance to Finns water park and beach. Would love to come back and stay longer than a week next time

Looking for a modern clean high spec villa for good value then I highly recommend Villa Hugo. Family of 10 stayed here and the rooms were far more spacious than the pictures show. The pool was superb it made leaning very hard. The villa and staff were amazing. A big big thank you to Puta and her team for daily support around the villa and being our chef for the night. They were outstanding and so friendly and helpful. The location was superb 5minute walk to beach clubs and surfing and just 10mins walk from Finns water park round the corner. We will definitely like to come back! Thank you Max for your quick replies and communication. The concierge were great too and helped organise us too. Just amazing

Hey Max and Team, thank you for looking after our family. the place was spotless, check in was flexible and plenty of space for us ( family of 10!) Canggu can get pretty hectic, so if you like a little peace and quiet, this is the spot for you. Action is never too far away, but with Bali traffic, give yourself a chance to be patient :) great place to stay, we had fun. if i had to nitpick, it would be that if only the airconditioning in the upstairs bedroom worked better but in the grand scheme of things it was still a great villa. cheers

This airbnb is beautiful! Pictures are all accurate. Although, I do have to note that we did have some issues (toilet overflowed, 2 power outages, the AC in 2 rooms stopped working for a whole night and we didn’t have water for a night till noon). I would notify staff about some issues and they were quick to respond and apologize. But, just like anywhere else, it did take time to fix these things. I was able to get a 1 night refund because of all of this and received the refund before I even checked out the airbnb. Overall, great staff just some unfortunate circumstances.

Enda som var lite tråkigt var all trafik och att det inte gick att gå säkert längs vägarna pga avsaknad av trottoar, inte för att man stördes av det i boendet utan mer i omgivningen.

The place is as per image- in general it has a positive vibe, spacious and close to the main area. However I would like to note 2 things: 1. While the host is responsive, she’s unable to do anything much other then “check on it”. For example, host claimed that wine opener is in the kitchen while it’s definitely not there. She claimed that she ‘s checking on it when obviously no one came. 2. The aircon is not working very well even though it’s set on turbo. It gets very warm at night.

Full kitchen set, cutleries are provided. 2 “master” bedroom right in front of the pool, 1 bed room is like “guest” bedroom since it doesn’t have the view like others, and 1 bedroom on the 2nd floor. Parking space a bit hard, you have to be quite experience in driving, or use smaller car is better. Since we don’t have any problem with the parking lot it’s a pleasant stay and will comeback again!

The villa looked exactly like in the photos! We were happy with everything such as the decor & cleanliness of the place. However, the kitchen wasn’t sparkling clean and there were leftover ice in the freezer. When it rained, the rainwater flowed into the main area and we had to put our towels on the ground to soak up the rainwater. Other than the above, we definitely had an enjoyable stay :)

This villa is much more beautiful than the pictures. Me and 4 girlfriends stayed here and we all enjoyed our stay. Each room was beautiful and very clean. The pool area was so relaxing. Mona (the manager) did an amazing job of checking on us everyday, maintaining constant communication, arranging a private driver, booking massages, and shopping for groceries for us. The housekeeping staff did a wonderful job of leaving the villa clean on a daily basis and they were very friendly. We will definitely be returning to this villa in the future!!

This villa was even better than the photos and the location, which we were expecting to be quite remote was also above expectations with a number of cafes around the corner as well as groceries and bottle shop. Mona was our villa manager and she genuinely went above and beyond with all of our requests. Her and the team were super helpful and extremely polite. If they were there cleaning when we were at the villa they worked around us and I couldn’t recommend staying at Villa Hugo more.

Villa Hugo is a little gem in Canggu - the rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed. The bathrooms are large, some of them have bathtubs. The aesthetic in the living dining area is beach worthy with an open kitchen, large, comfy sofas with a pool view. The landscaping around the clean blue pool enhances the swimming area. One doesn’t have to leave the villa, however Finn’s Beach Club is a must see. It’s a 15 min walk or a short car ride away. The other restaurants are a short 5 min walk from the villa. Mona was wonderful, she checked us in, organized groceries, gave us advice on shopping etc etc. If you’re looking for a quiet stay away from hectic Seminyak - Villa Hugo is perfect.

Just a wonderful Villa. Everything was above expectations. Rooms were well appointed. Rivals luxury Resorts within the convenience of your own compound. Staff and concierge are fantastic. Don’t skimp on the services offered. We did the in villa yoga, massages, and lots of Chef Wayan dinners (which were excellent) Hard to say goodbye to but we’ll be back next time.

Its was a little scary to book a place with no reviews, but we did and it was so good! I’m very hard to please and there is nothing I would complain about. Everything is new, well maintained and taken care of. The staff and villa manager are very nice, went out of their way to make our stay amazing. The villa manager would buy the most yummiest fruits and veggies and even went all the way to Jimbaran to buy fresh fish for us. We stay in Bali a lot and this is not that common, they usually go to the nearest supermarket. So special thank you. Villa is located close to many coffee shops, a 5 min walk from Finns and a short drive to any restaurant. You must try Milk and Madu for breakfast or lunch or dinner. And Savage for coffee. And if you into pilates - the best place is literally next door. Great villa, very modern and beautifully designed, exactly like pictures or even better! Highly recommend!

The villa is just perfect for family with kids. They love the swimming pool. Bedrooms are big, nicely appointed. Bathrooms in each room are huge too. The villa is within 15 mins to finns beach club and also to great restaurants and shops. Just loving this canggu area villa.

Une villa magnifique, très fonctionnelle, très très agréable. Climatisation dans les chambres , silencieuse. Piscine avec une eau très propre, limpide. Personnel de maison tres respectueux, entretenant parfaitement la maison. Et une conciergerie tres efficace, et tres réactive. Nous sommes restés 2 semaines. Chaque jour on planifiait la journée du lendemain et la conciergerie a toujours répondu à nos attentes. Merci.
